Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AxisGlam software, the AxisGlam website (axisglam.com), and the AxisGlam Marketplace (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Use of the Service

You may use AxisGlam for personal or commercial laser cutting, engraving, and design work. You agree not to:

Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software beyond what is permitted by applicable law.
Use the Service to upload, distribute, or sell content that infringes intellectual property rights, is unlawful, harmful, or deceptive.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts.
Use automated means to scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service without prior written consent.

2. Marketplace — Buying & Selling

The AxisGlam Marketplace allows users to discover, purchase, and install digital design assets ("Assets").

Purchases: All sales are final. Purchased Assets are licensed for personal and commercial use in your own projects. You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Assets themselves.
Sellers: By uploading Assets, you confirm you hold all necessary rights to distribute them and grant AxisGlam a non-exclusive license to host and deliver them.
Payments: Payments are processed securely by Stripe. AxisGlam does not store payment card information.
Refunds: Digital goods are generally non-refundable. Contact us at support@axisglam.com if you believe a purchase was made in error.

3. Shared Test Cards and Machine Reports

AxisGlam lets you share, if you choose to, a photo of a material test card you burned (with the settings you picked from it) and a description of a machine you set up, so that other owners of the same kind of machine can start from your results. What is sent, and how it is handled, is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Your photo, your right to share it. When you share a test card you confirm that you took the photo yourself (or otherwise have the right to share it) and that it shows only the test card.
The permission you give, and how to end it. You keep the copyright in your photo. By sharing it you give AxisGlam a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to store it, review it, and, once approved, show it publicly with its settings (approved cards are not behind a login), and you allow anyone to use the settings on their own machines. You can end this permission at any time by withdrawing the card in the application (or by emailing us); we then stop showing it and delete the photo. Settings someone has already applied on their own machine are theirs to keep using.
Not allowed: anything other than a material test card; anything unlawful, offensive or sexual; images of people; someone else’s photo; settings you know to be unsafe.
Review and removal. We review every shared card before it is published and may refuse, hide or remove any card at any time and for any reason, including after a report or a claim that a photo belongs to someone else. You can replace or withdraw your own card from the application at any time. To report a photo that is yours, use “This is my photo” in the application or follow our DMCA procedure.
Other people’s settings are a starting point, not a guarantee. A shared card shows what worked on someone else’s machine, material and day. Machines of the same model differ, and so do batches of material. The application marks such settings as an estimate; always test them on scrap before relying on them, and never leave a running machine unattended. We do not verify shared settings and are not responsible for results, damage or injury from using them.

4. Intellectual Property

AxisGlam and its logo are trademarks of AxisGlam. The software, website design, and original content are protected by copyright. Assets uploaded by users remain the property of their respective creators. Shared test-card photos remain the property of the people who took them, shown publicly with their permission (Section 3).

5. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Laser cutting and engraving involves machinery that can cause injury or property damage — always follow safe operating procedures.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AxisGlam shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including damages resulting from use of designs obtained through the Marketplace or settings obtained from shared test cards or machine reports.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will note the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
